LORETTA HICKS
Hi! I’m Loretta and I’m so glad you’re here. Loretta Hicks Interiors is the intersection of my passion for art, travel, interiors and design.
A graduate of Boston College and Santa Clara University, I began my career as a lawyer and it was while we were remodeling and designing our family’s home that I finally realized what I wanted to be when I grew up. Once my second child started kindergarten, I happily enrolled in design school and haven’t looked back.
I believe one of the greatest joys in life is to host friends and family in warm and inviting spaces that create memorable experiences. A beautifully designed home nurtures this type of gracious living, and is at the core of what I do. My love for color, pattern, and texture drives my work, as I seek to infuse each space with vibrancy, depth and a dynamic point of view.
The Northern California coastline, mountains, and sun-soaked wine country all inspire my work. My designs are a reflection of this environment, blending the laid-back charm of California living with sophisticated, urban style.
When I am not working on design projects, you’ll find me exploring art museums, collecting books and glassware, dreaming up a new tablescape, or recharging in Carmel-by-the-Sea with my husband and two children.
